Our baby chicks did not stay babies for very long and quickly got too big for the tub that we were keeping them in, in the garage. So Daddy and the boys started clearing trees and building a chicken house.

Keeping Up with Princess
Bradley showed for the third year in the Newton County Open Swine Show.
He was excited from the point he woke up in the morning. He woke up and came into our room and said, "Mom, it's show day!"
This year his Uncle Bryan gave him a gilt to show and Delaney had named her princess. Bradley was not too thrilled about her name, so he decided he would just call her "P." He was very excited when Uncle Bryan told him that he was planning to breed her and maybe next year, he could show one of her babies.
He ended up placing third and earned his first ribbon in a swine show!

Independence Day
We celebrated Independence Day a few times this year.
We met up with Papa and Nana and "Unc Deb" and "Unc Doug" (as Jaxson refers to them) as well as their cousins in Fowler on the actual fourth to watch the "big fireworks." This kids got to play with glow sticks and watch a great show. Bradley was again freaked out by the loud booms, notice his hands on his ears in the pictures. Jax thought they were cool and wanted more!
Papa even did a sparkler after the fireworks.
Jax sat with Darcy.
Bradley took shelter with mommy,
A few days later we went to Addi and Hudson Brunton's Birthday Party, they did fireworks there too.
