Picture Post

The boys decided to play in the sprinkle one afternoon and they were having so much fun, I just had to post a few pictures.

Clearing the Trails...

Riding up and down the driveway on a power wheels gator and tractor is just not adventurous enough for my boys. Dan got a tractor and he took on a project to add adventure to their lives.

Dan driving his tractor with both boys.

After he made trails through the woods, they had their friends, Kyleigh and Brody, bring over their power wheels too and all four of them went into the woods to ride the trails.

Off they go! They had a blast, I only had to pull them out of the weeds a few hundred times!

Our Cousins are Back in Town!

I think Bradley has been asking me since March when Landon and Lilah were coming to his Great Uncle and Great Aunt's House. It is summer and they are back in town. We headed down on the Saturday morning after their late night arrival. As soon as we pulled out of driveway, he started asking, "How much longer until we're there mom?"
It amazed me that as soon as we pulled in my Aunt and Uncle's driveway he jumped out, found Landon and they were immediately playing together like they had hung out every weekend. There was no bashful warm-up period involved.

We were ready for a busy day, once everyone was ready we headed to the strawberry patch to do picking.

(This picture is from a different day, hence the different colored shirt.)

Aunt Deb trying to explain to Jax how to pick the good berries. (That was kind of joke.)

It started to rain so we loaded up to grab some lunch and head to Purdue to and take the kids on a fountain fun. Jax learned he kind of like strawberries along the way. He was also a little bit tired.

It was not the warmest day at the fountains. Jax thought it was too cold, but the other kids did not seem to care one bit.

My stud!

Jax thought he might just get to hang out on the sidelines, but I made him try it out.

Bradley LOVED the fountains and cannot wait to go back! Then there was also a needed stop at Igloo for some frozen custard for the out of towners.

Bradley managed to avoid the camera.

Finally, it was back Deb and Doug's for some fun, Pizza King, and finishing work on the deck for a big cookout the next day.

Hopefully we will be able to do a few more things with Landon and Lilah while they are visiting for the summer.

Another Teeball Season

Bradley was so excited for another season of teeball. This year was a little different, because I decided to help coach. We had a great team with four coaches and seven kids and believe it or not that was a great ratio. It seemed like a lot of practices and games seemed to get rained out though.
Bradley seemed to take this year a little more serious than last year. He started off the year hitting nearly every time off the pitch and not having to use the tee. He still need to work on learning the fundamentals of throwing so that he can make the ball go further.

Getting ready to make the bat meet the ball!

Running as fast as his little legs will carry him.

Team Meeting, I wish I had some pictures of our before game team stretching which usually involved some entertaining jumping jacks and a game of duck duck goose.

Medals for the end of year. One player is missing, but we had a fabulous team and we had tons of fun! I can't wait until next year.

Trying again to make the bat meet the ball.

On the field, yes, I think my child is the one playing in the dirt. Sometimes he did get bored out in the field if he wasn't in a position where he knew the ball was going to come to him.

Preschool Picnic and Career Changes

On the last day of preschool, all the parents and the kids meet at lunch time for a picnic at the park.
It is a great time for everyone to chat and the kids to play and have fun.

This was the entire 2012-2013 preschool class, see if you can find Bradley's blond little head.

This was Mrs.Diane's last year as the preschool teacher at ABC preschool, Bradley had her for two years and Bradley really enjoyed her as a teacher.

Next year, I will be the teacher for Bradley's Preschool. I am very excited and so is Bradley. I am looking forward to taking a new path with my career. I keep telling Dan, this might be my niche...
