A Day at the (indoor) Water Park

One of Jaxson's friends from preschool invited him to go to Buccaneer Bay a couple of weeks ago. I was freezing cold outside, but the kids had a blast playing in the water on the inside. Bradley's favorite part was to run under the massive bucket as it dumped water. Jaxson loved trying to secretly shoot mommy with the water cannons.

We had a fantastic time and hopefully we will go back soon.

Welcome to 2015!

Usually, we do not do anything to celebrate the ringing in of the New Year, because Dan has to work late or early. This year, however, it worked out that we were able to ring in the new year in the company of a group of other families at a friend's house. Everyone had tons of fun!

Hoping for a happy and healthy 2015! (So far so good!)

Back to Blogging... 2015

After taking a year off from the blog, I am getting back to it. I love being able to document our adventures and memories that we are creating as a family.

January of 2015 started off with snow, of course, that is part of life in the Midwest. We had an extra week of Christmas Break, thanks to this beautiful snow and some really frigid temperatures.

All Jaxson wants to do is dig and clear the snow.

Bradley could not wait to get out on the sledding hill. He really wanted to build a snowman, unfortunately, this snow was too fluffy.

It was very cold on this day I only allowed them play outside for a short period of time.
